Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen finally opens up about her romance with American football star Tom Brady and says they have a lot in common.
Contactmusic.com reports that Bundchen started dating Brady after he split with actress Bridget Monyhan, but uptill now neither of them had spoken about their relationship. She said: "I think we have a lot of things in common, and I think he is a really great person. He really genuinely doesn't have a bad bone in his body. And he is a very positive person."
Bundchen also revealed that she and Brady were brought together by a common friend. She added: "We met through a friend who knew us both for a long time. Our friend knew that we would like each other. And we did. So I guess he was right."

With an estimated $35 million in earnings, Gisele Bundchen is still the world’s top-earning model, according to Forbes.com’s annual list. In the last 12 months, Bundchen made more than double the $14 million earned by Heidi Klum, who came in second, according to Forbes.

Rounding out the top five are Kate Moss ($7.5 million), Adriana Lima ($7 million) and Doutzen Kroes ($6 million). The latter, a 23-year-old from Holland, was second-to-last on the list last year. “I wish we had snapped her up a long time ago,” Edward Razek, who has been selecting models for Victoria’s Secret for a decade, told Forbes. The company gave Kroes a contract this year.
Victoria’s Secret made millionaires of two newcomers: Miranda Kerr and Selita Ebanks, ranked at Nos. 10 and 12, respectively.

Biography

As a school girl, she was taunted with the nickname Olive Oil, the waif thin girl friend of Popeye the Sailor in cartoons. Her career as a model started when Gisele was on a school trip to Sao Paulo in 1995 when she was only 15 years old. While grabbing a Big Mac in a shopping mall, she was seen by a modeling agent who approached her and asked if shehad any interest in becoming a model. Despite her father's lack of approval of the career choice, he allowed her to move to Sao Paulo and she entered the Elite Look Modeling Competition, and her career took off.

Gisele has modeled for all the major fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Versace, Valentino and Chloe. She also has appeared on several magazine covers such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar and Rolling Stone.

Gisele has recently signed a multimillion-dollar contract with North American lingerie firm, Victoria's Secret. As a result, the Brazilian beauty will appear in several of their lingerie, beauty and hosiery campaigns for television and print, as well as in their point-of-sale materials. According to rumors that circulated amongst the fashion crowd during New York Fashion Week, Gisele will receive a cool 20 million US dollars for the job.

The Brazilian supermodel and the world’s richest supermodel, Gisele Bundchen is making wedding plans after getting engaged in Los Angeles over the weekend to marry American football superstar Tom Brady, People.com reported. Family and friends were informed over the weekend.

The New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 31, proposed with a diamond solitaire ring to the Brazilian supermodel, 28, on Friday, said People magazine on Monday. It must be mentioned the celebrity website TMZ.com reported last month that Tom Brady popped the question on a private jet on Christmas Eve.

"He asked and she accepted," a source close to the couple was quoted as saying. The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home, as reports say.

It is the second time that the glamour couple reportedly got engaged, as agencies report. Gisele Bundchen had been earlier dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
