Robert Pattinson Calls Out Courtney Love, Refers to Singer as a "Dick"

In a new interview with Great Britain's The Daily Mirror, Robert Pattinson touches on a number of topics.
We'll get to those momentarily, but first props must be given to the actor for calling out Courtney Love.

Asked about the rumor that he was up for the role of Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic, Pattinson said he never considered it - and then blasted Love for her negative remarks (when she referred to that possibility as "stupid") in April.

"You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying ’What the f*ck! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ’I f*cking said no, you d*ck!’ I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him!’ It’s ridiculous."

You go, boy!

Swoon Alert

Pattinson was also asked about similarities to Edward, along with his next movie, Bel Ami. Excerpts from the interview follow:

On identifying with Edward: It’s changed a bit in this film. In the first two, I guess there was his feeling that you can’t relate to anyone, or no one can relate to you. I was like, ’I never want to talk to anyone’. I used to feel like that when I was younger. I’ve grown up now.

On his next role: There’s something fun about Bel Ami, going from Edward to some guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them. Edward so wouldn’t approve – and I thought that was a funny irony.

On other career aspirations: I want to produce a film. It would be so satisfying to turn up to work and not have to go into costume or make-up. You stand behind the monitor and don’t even have the responsibility of the director.

On Kristen Stewart: I can't wait to marry her.

JUST KIDDING with that last one! Wanted to see if you were paying attention. (thehollywoodgossip)

Robert Pattinson - Robert Pattinson says Kristen Stewart "A Real Woman"

ROBERT Pattinson says Kristen Stewart became a “real woman” while filming the third Twilight movie, Eclipse.

The 'Twilight Saga' actor - who stars as vampire Edward Cullen opposite his rumoured girlfriend, who plays Bella Swan in the movie franchise - enjoys seeing how much the 20-year-old screen beauty has changed since filming began and claims they are so close, they no longer need to communicate verbally.
“What I especially like about her is that she’s like me, not dizzy from fans and press attention,” he told the Russian edition of Grazia magazine.
"We understand each other without the words. I can tell Kristen about all my problems. But honestly I don't have to. because she's in same position as I am."
For a minute in the interview Rob begins to win us over, talking about Kristen's sincerity as one of the things he loves best about her: "Kristen really cares about me and I'm very grateful for this. She's the most honest and genuine person I've ever met. She always listens and gives good advice regardless of her own interests."
But then he throws us off, saying that he doesn't think love lasts forever: "The idea seems strange to me," Pattinson said. "It's so boring to spend your whole life with the same person." Does Kristen know your feelings about this?! Nothing like learning it from a foreign magazine interview!
Despite his feelings for Kristen, Robert doesn't believe in eternal love.

U.S Actress Ashley Greene Inspired By Robert Pattinson

Ashley Greene is coming forth to say she's totally inspired by co-star Robert Pattinson. And we have to say, she is making us fall in love with Robert Pattinson even more!

Ashley Greene acted with Robert Pattinson as his onscreen sister in Twilight series where Pattinson was in the character of vampire. Ashley said Pattinson is much grounded man and he has not changed his down to earth attitude a bit in spite of achieving immense success and phenomenon fame. British actor Pattinson stared his full-fledged acting career with a small role in “Harry Potter and Goblet of fire” in 2005. Ashley added Pattinson smelled the success and got global exposure when he got the role of vampire in Twilight series. Acting opposite to Kristen Stewart in Twilight sequels helped Pattinson to attain global stardom within very short span of time.
Ashley tells the U.K's Daily Mail, "Robert Pattinson, who plays my adoptive brother in the Twilight films, has been one of my biggest inspirations. As a person, he's not like anyone I've ever met in Hollywood, and as an actor he's a complete natural." Awww, we think that's incredibly sweet. And since Ashley seems like such an honest, real person, we highly doubt she's just saying these things. We think she really means them!

Robert Pattinson Dishes on Eclipse Make Out Scenes, Twihards

If you listen to tabloid rumors, Robert Pattinson has either dumped Kristen Stewart or is about to be dumped by Kristen Stewart.

But if you listed to this Twilight Saga star himself, well, you won't hear anything at all about his real-life relationship. Still, Parade was able to get Robert to open up about kissing Kristen - in Eclipse, at least.
Check out the following excerpts from Pattinson's recent interview with that publication:

On Edward/Bella lip locks: "Kissing felt a little bit more natural in Eclipse, even if there was plenty of it. In New Moon and Twilight it was always like, 'Oh, I'm gonna kill you if I kiss you' or something. It was always kind of odd. But, in this one, they both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. It's the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple."

A Smile and a Stare

On Edward wanting to wait: "Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. Edward doesn't really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she's pushing him to go all the way. He's got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned in that way as well."

So... are he and Kristen dating? "I guess people like stories, that's my basic conclusion. They just want everything in our lives to be like Twilight. The truth is... that I wish I had a few more hours of sleep today so I could think of a better answer."

On dealing with Twihards: "I kind of made the transition in my head of not being freaked out by it... when it happens so often to you, you kind of actually look at people's faces and see that they're enjoying themselves, and it makes everything so much easier to accept. Everything becomes a lot easier."

Pattinson also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week. He had a couple of hilarious interactions with Emma Roberts, which you can watch now in our Robert video section. Enjoy!

Robert Pattinson interview with David Letterman

English actor and model Robert Pattinson, who is the best known for playing Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of Twilight Letterman appearance reveals all.

Let's face it: you probably don't love Edward Cullen because of Edward Cullen. You probably love Edward Cullen because of Robert Pattinson. Pattinson's press tour to promote the Twilight Saga: New Moon has been ruthless, yet he's still charming crowds with his lovable high-energy. His appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman Wednesday night was a prime display of Pattinson preciousness, and we have video here.

Rob talked about dating, his first film ("My entire part was dubbed over by another actor," he laughs), biting, and -- our favorite part -- what it's like for a British actor to speak with an American accent. Watch Robert Pattinson's Letterman interview to see what two American words are the funniest for a Brit to say.

It was a very charming interview. We can also tell that Dave doesn't understand the Twilight craze. That's ok - we do!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

poster of film The Twilight Saga: New Moon
New moon, originally uploaded by netmen!.

Shown above is a promo poster of the latest Twilight film called ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ opening on Friday. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reunite, with Melissa Rosenberg returning as the screenwriter, for more vampire and werewolf battles after the first installment in the series, ‘Twilight’, the 2008 romantic fantasy film.

Originally published as a series of books, the author Stephenie Meyer says that the idea for the book came to her in a dream. There are four completed books in the Twilight saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. A fifth and incomplete book, “Midnight Sun” was leaked incomplete to the internet, and it is still unfinished and according to Meyer, it is on hold indefinitely.

Figures released earlier this week show The Twilight Saga: New Moon is the biggest selling film of all time in terms of US advance bookings, as more fans have pre-booked tickets to New Moon than for Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince or The Dark Knight, according to Fandango, the cinema booking website. Also, it has already sold more advance seats than the original Twilight film in 2008.

According to Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, ‘It's got werewolves, it's got visual effects that turn people into werewolves, it's got motorcycle stunts, you go to Italy. It's probably twice as much as Twilight to film.’

A synopsis of New Moon released by Summit Entertainment says, “Bella Swan is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested."

Kristen Stewart reappears as Bella Swan, a teenage girl who has fallen in love with Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), a vampire. She is heartbroken when Edward abruptly leaves her, but is raised out of her depression through her friendship with Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Bella's old childhood friend and a member of the Quileute tribe, who becomes close to Bella after Edward leaves and transforms himself into a werewolf. For much of the film, Edward only appears as a figment of Bella's imagination. Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) is a member of the Cullen family who can see ‘subjective’ visions of the future and who becomes best friends with Bella.
