We really need to stop reporting on all the crazy things Taylor Momsen says, because it’s genuinely starting to upset us. The now-17-year-old has thrown dozens of choice quotes our way over the past couple years, the general sentiment being “I don’t give a f*ck and also, f*ck you.” Today’s sound bite might take the cake though. In a radio interview in New Zealand, Momsen joked “I was raised Catholic. I f*cked a priest once — I’m just kidding.” Ha….ha? Look, we’re not Catholic and our sensibilities aren’t that delicate, but what are you trying to prove? We get it! You are edgy! You win the Edgy Award 2010! Congrats!

Taylor later got into feminist mode in the interview when she said answered to people who criticized her for discussing her vibrator. ”I’m not a whore for masturbating, so f*ck you if you want to call me one. I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. I think that if that has any more controversy than a man talking about pleasuring himself, then there’s something wrong with the world.”

Oh my God, didn’t this topic already get covered in six seasons of Sex and The City? But also, it’s because you are seventeen that you are being targeted, Tay. Did you think of that? Here's 'Gossip Girl' star (and rock singer) Taylor Momsen promoting the 'Material Girl' clothing line. That's the line Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes created.

I didn't know Taylor was associated with this clothing line, but if what she's wearing is indicative of the line, then it makes sense. And it's good to see Taylor in some pants! (And I mean that in a nice way :)

There may not be much to her top, but she's wearing a jacket (and this is Taylor we're talking about - lol)
I know Madonna is an icon, but I wonder how popular she is with teenagers. Do you think this line is likely to be a success?

Taylor Momsen: Material Girl Makes Debut at Macy’s

Taylor Momsen is the face of “Material Girl,” Madonna’s new fashion brand, also co-designed by her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon. Taylor was spotted at the launch of the Fashion Brand at Macy’s Herald Square.

Taylor wearing a black leather jacket and skinny black jeans, made an appearance along with band-mate guitarist Ben Phillips on the stage where she sang title track from their debut album, “Light Me Up” and its first single, “Make Me Wanna Die.”

As she told Speak Easy,

“It is a collection for everyone; any type of girl can wear these clothes because it’s not just girly-girl or tomboy or rock. It’s very eclectic and fits me in that way.”

She also had high praise for Madonna as she said,”I really didn’t go in with any expectations. But Madonna is so completely down-to-earth; a really nice woman.” And there are also some questions being raised on whether Taylor should be allowed to endorse Material Girl because of its revealing clothing line. And Momsen is just a teenager.

As Telegraph reports,

“One shot shows her in a black and white mini skirt, dark nail polish and biker boots. Another shot shows her posing in a low-cut Grey mini dress and fishnet tights. It is not the first time questions have been raised about the suitability of outfits sold in High Street stores for younger teenage girls.” (showstalker)

Taylor Momsen on Miley Cyrus Comparisons: Shut the Eff Up!

thehollywoodgossip - Miley Cyrus may be a colossal disappointment for a variety of reasons, but at least she doesn't curse, smoke or look like a raccoon at all times.

The same can't be said for Gossip Girl cast member Taylor Momsen.

Speaking to FHM UK this week, the 16-year old lashed out at critics that compare her to Miley, making it very clear that she doesn't see any similarities between the pair.

"I'm not looking to be Miley f*cking Cyrus," Momsen said. "I don't care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we'll go along for the ride."

Momsen and Cyrus may both act and sing, but that's pretty much where the comparisons end. The former fronts rock band The Pretty Reckless, while the latter is nothing more than a Britney Spears wannabe at this point.

Still, Taylor feels a need to distance herself from Miley, adding: "I think the Disney bubblegum shit that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression."

It's unclear what that actually means, but Gossip Girl fans have made their opinion of Momsen and her character well-known: Jenny Humphrey has been written out of most of next season on the show.

Fashion Report:Taylor Momsen is rockin' Alexander Wang silver embellished dress

True, we already Celebrity Styled this rockin' look , but we can't get over it. It's so fabulous. Taylor wore it through what looked like a fun night at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Annex NYC grand opening and the The Rowdy Collection Spring Preview Party. If I was wearing this flashy dress I would party hop, too.

I do agree with you that this Gossip Girl often dresses too mature for her age (she's 15), but I think this is an age appropriate get up. She is wearing tights under her slashed Alexander Wang silver embellished dress . And, she is young and therefore has every right to wear a mini. I like her platinum blonde feathery 'do now that it's grown out a bit. Her pointy Balenciaga pumps are hard core and her silver cuffs added additional silver sassiness.
